  Getting on the Move

An appropriate activity plan is critical to long-term success in a weight control program. However, many people cringe when they hear the word "exercise" and allow their negative image of physical exercise keep them from beginning a weight control program.

Exercise not Excess!

We understand that the most important part of an exercise program is starting slow so that it is easy to stick with it. If you have been inactive for a long time or simply aren't interested in jogging or mountain biking, then even small amounts of activity, such as walking for a few minutes each day, can be worthwhile. Our staff can provide you with ideas on how to gradually increase your activity level in a way that is interesting and fun. We understand exercise and the overweight individual and we will make sure that your activity plan is both physically and mentally appropriate for you.
